UL Marks and labels
Product categories requiring hologram UL Marks
UL hologram labels are required globally for decorative lighting strings, decorative outfits, Christmas tree and decorative outfit accessories, and electric ornaments. For the remaining product categories, hologram labels are only required for products manufactured in China. That will change effective July 1, 2009. Hologram labels will be required globally on new production in all the product categories below. In addition, a new gold hologram label will be required.
UL will maintain standard labels for some types of products which may be ordered directly from UL. Custom hologram labels must be purchased from UL's supplier of hologram labels. Click here for more information on ordering custom hologram labels.
