Global Market Access

Global Market Access

While the compliance requirements of different geographical markets may share commmon elements and objectives, each country or region may mandate requirements specific to national or regional regulatory concerns or implement different options for how these requirements can be met. Market-driven voluntary certification marks, such as CE may also need to be considered. These variations and nuances can cause major market challenges and delays for companies trying to introduce new products to markets.

Along with product safety certification, UL's services help manufacturers of products expand their global footprints by helping them access new and exciting markets around the world with our globally accepted certification programs. This includes, but is not limited to, UL's ability to evaluate, certify, and provide the CCC mark for products entering the Chinese marketplace for examples. Some of the marks we can provide include:

  • CCC Mark: China
  • C-Tick Mark: Australia
  • D Mark: Europe
  • GOST R Mark: Russia
  • INMETRO Mark: Brazil
  • KC Mark: Korea
