Other U.S. hazardous locations certification requirements

The following is a list of U.S. hazardous locations documents (other than UL's) that serve as requirements for UL's hazardous locations investigations.

Other U.S. standards writing organizations such as IEEE, ISA, MSHA, NEMA, NFPA, and the U.S. Coast Guard have developed these requirements. UL staff assists these organizations in the development and maintenance of their respective requirements (such as through participation on technical committees).
