UL's Energy Verification Mark

In conjunction with a safety mark

UL provides a service for the verification of products that meet the appropriate requirements for energy efficiency and which are also Listed or Recognized by UL.

For products complying with both the appropriate energy efficiency requirements of the United States and/or Canada and the UL Listing or Recognition requirements, the Verification Marking and the traditional UL Listing or Recognition Mark should appear as shown below.

Option 1

UL Listed products/Recognized Components also UL Verified in accordance with energy efficiency requirements

The authorized marking shall be illustrated below. The product identity and control number will be included on Listed products and the catalog number will be included on Recognized Components.

	Verified for energy efficiency as well as Listing service for safety		Verified for energy efficiency for U.S. and Canadian requirements as well as Component Recognition service for safety

Option 2

UL Listed products also UL Verified in accordance with energy efficiency requirements

The authorized marking should contain:

VERIFICATION MARK FOR PRODUCTS EVALUATED FOR SAFETY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY FOR CANADA AND/OR UNITED STATES              and/or    LISTED (PRODUCT IDENTITY) (CONTROL NUMBER) Also Energy Verified ___*_____

UL Recognized Components also UL Verified in Accordance with Energy Efficiency requirements

The authorized marking should contain:

VERIFICATION MARK FOR PRODUCTS EVALUATED FOR SAFETY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY FOR CANADA AND/OR UNITED STATES              and/or    (Catalog Number)   Also Energy Verified ___*_____

* - The blank space includes the applicable regulation or standard, and the issue date of the standard or latest addendum.
