Continual expansion
UL is continually working to expand our business. Current efforts include advances in the overall area of distributed power related to fuel cells, fuel cell power plants and alternative electrical power generation, the evaluation of gas fired equipment, and a new category for natural gas booster compressors.
Staying involved
UL works closely with numerous panels, councils, and other electrical/electronic control equipment organizations. UL has a representative on each of the National Electrical Code panels, and works closely with the Air Diffusion Council.
