UL offers a Listing type service called a field evaluation that accommodates manufacturer needs and is conducted where a sign has been installed by experienced UL technical staff members. For more information, please see field evaluation services.

Search for UL Listed sign manufacturers

Specific information regarding companies that have UL Listings through our general coverage sign program and changing message sign program can be found using UL's Certifications database. To search for signs covered under these two programs, go to search by category control number (CCN)/ file number.

• For general coverage sign program listings, enter the letters "UXYT" in the field that asks for the category control number (CCN).
• For changing message sign program listings, enter the letters "UYFS" in the CCN field.

Listed companies that comply with the requirements for these categories will appear.
