Field Assembled Skeletal Neon and Outline Lighting Systems
The Field Assembled Skeletal Neon and Outline Lighting Systems program, known as FASNOL, helps streamline the installation and acceptance of field assembled skeletal neon and outline lighting systems.
Companies that are part of the program can apply the UL Listing Mark to skeletal neon signs and outline lighting systems that have been assembled in the field.
Being a UL Listed Installer under the FASNOL program provides the following:
- Creates a competitive advantage.
As a UL Listed Installer, manufacturers can offer electric skeletal neon and outline lighting systems that meet both UL 48, the Standard for Safety of Electric Signs, and FASNOL requirements. You may also bid on jobs that seek UL Listed installers only. - General coverage type of service.
This service includes an in-house inspection with occasional review of an installation in the field. - Avoid red-tagged signs at the installation site.
Avoid the delays and extra costs associated with having an installation red tagged. - Obtain the UL Mark.
The UL Mark has long stood as the benchmark for safety in industry. Regulatory authorities in every jurisdiction in the United States and Canada recognize and accept the UL Mark.
