Widely known for our safety-related certification (UL 60950), this is not the only service UL offers.  We are one of only a few labs in the world certified by  Verizon as a qualified Independent Testing Laboratories (ITLs).  This makes us eligible to certify products as NEBS (Network Equipment Building Systems) and FOC (Fiber Optic Components) compliant in line with Telcordia Generic Requirements (GRs) and Verizon Technical Purchasing Requirements (TPRs), including GRs 63, 487, 1089 and most recently the VZ.TPR.9205 for Energy and Performance Assessment.  UL also has extensive EMC/EMI capabilities throughout the world.
