UL 62368-1, First Edition

Effective date information

Date of publication – February 17, 2012

Date of withdrawal of previous standards -- UL 62368-1, First Edition is the first edition of this Standard. UL 62368-1 will eventually replace both UL 60065 and UL 60950-1; however, the date of withdrawal of previous standards it will replace will be determined at some future date.  In the meantime, per the Applicant’s choosing, new product submittals  may be evaluated using all the requirements in UL 62368-1 First Edition as of the date of publication, or UL 60065 or UL 60950-1, as applicable.

Requirement effective date (RED) -- There presently are no active REDs for specific sub-clauses in UL 62368-1.

A UL Effective Date is one established by UL and is not part of the ANSI approved standard.
