UL 60950-22, First Edition

Effective date information

Date of publication -- April 23, 2007; revised: December 19, 2011

Date of withdrawal of previous standards – As of December 19, 2011 new products submitted for certification will only be evaluated using the requirements in UL 60950-22 First Edition, dated December 19, 2011.

Products that are certified by UL to previous Information Technology Equipment (ITE) Standards may continue to be certified without further investigation, unless otherwise communicated by UL. However, any significant changes made to these products will be evaluated to the Standard(s) used for new product submittals as of the date of the change request, i.e., UL 60950 -22 First Edition, dated December 19, 2011.

Requirement effective date (RED) -- There presently are no active REDs for specific sub-clauses in UL 60950-22.

A UL Effective Date is one established by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and is not part of the ANSI approved standard.
