APPLICATION GUIDELINE:
Power supplies (SUPPLY APPARATUS) may be investigated to the requirements in UL 6500 and may be covered as Recognized Components or Listed for the purpose of use in audio/video end-products.
RATIONALE:
UL 6500 contains requirements applicable to the investigation of separate power supplies.
Refer to the 3rd dashed entry in the 4th paragraph of Clause 1.1.1.
