Comprehensive fire protection
This course is designed to provide fire safety education based on the comprehensive fire protection approach. Participants learn through study of historical building fires, processes for evaluating products for code compliance, product end-use application based on product certification, and the impact of smoke and fire paths in the selection of fire mitigating tools. The alignment of codes, enforcement, and appropriate product safety standards becomes the practical application of the comprehensive fire protection approach.
