How It Works
Introducing UL Advantage. An innovative certification program designed to enable small appliance products to get to market faster.. What's more, once qualified, you can use the UL Mark on large numbers of product lines or new product launches, as long as they comply with program requirements.
Now manufacturers will have greater control over the timing of their certification while leveraging UL's expertise and engineering experience. eLearning training, combined with oversight from UL, enables manufacturers to add the UL Mark in-house to all products - existing and those yet to be imagined - as long as they are built in accordance with program requirements.
This means there is no need to alter production schedules or risk delaying time-to-market to achieve certification. Businesses can move quickly to get safety-certified products to the market at the right time. Even Follow-up Services is evolving with Advantage. UL uniquely conducts biannual in-field audits of each manufacturer's testing process and reviews documentation for each product line, providing added assurance.

Electric Irons, Air Filtering Appliances, Ceiling Fans, Household Mixers, Electric Fans, Corded and Cordless rechargeable Hair Clipping and Shaving Appliances.
