Green SquaredSM Certification
UL Environment is proud to offer the Tile Council of North America’s (TCNA’s) Green SquaredSM Certification (ANSI A138.1).
Our dedicated, knowledgeable, and customer service-oriented team members work closely with participating tile manufacturers to ensure a smooth and efficient certification process. Then, once certified, manufacturers can leverage the UL Environment name—and the trusted UL brand—to gain marketplace preference and increase the likelihood of product specification.
About the Certification
Green SquaredSM Certification recognizes manufacturers of ceramic tiles, glass tiles, and tile installation materials whose products boast exceptional environmental performance qualities throughout their lifecycle. Products are assessed according to five criteria:
- Product characteristics
- Manufacturing and raw material extraction
- End of product life management
- Progressive corporate governance
- Innovation
