NOM certifications directory
This section includes active, cancelled, suspended, and expired certificates, as well as reported products.
- Active certificate: compliance statement in which UL states that a product complies with the specifications enforced by applicable normative documents and that its validity and expiration are subject to the respective surveillance.
- Cancelled certificate: revoked compliance statement mainly due to product or contract non-compliance.
- Suspended certificate: temporarily invalid compliance statement due to a non-compliance that does not demand immediate cancellation. Related corrections and/or clarifications are expected within sixty days; otherwise, the certificate is cancelled.
- Expired certificate: A product has complied with the respective surveillance, but the corresponding renewal has not been requested and the term has expired. The compliance statement is then classified as expired.
- Reported product: products displaying the UL-MX NOM Mark without due authorization and/or that represent a safety risk for the consumer.
