UL 6500/60065 Practical Application Guidelines

Practical Application Guidelines (PAGs) are developed by UL with cooperation and input from industry. The goal of PAGs is to assist in clarifying the requirements in a standard. The PAGs contained in the first table apply to UL 6500, the Standard for Safety for Audio/Video and Musical Instrument Apparatus for Household, Commercial and Similar General Use, Second Edition. The PAGs contained in the second table apply to UL 60065, the Standard for Audio, Video and Similar Electronic Apparatus - Safety Requirements, Seventh Edition.

To access the PAGs, click on the links in the "Brief Description" area. For questions about the PAGs or to submit a proposal for an additional PAG for UL's consideration, please contact our Customer Service Professionals.
