Relocation of UL Demko and UL Japan offices
UL International Demko A/S has moved to a brand new office in Ballerup, Denmark on August 8, 2011. The new address is: Borupvang 5A, 2750 Ballerup, Denmark (Tel: +45.44.85.6565, Fax: +45.44.85.6500).
The new space has a floor area of about 4,000 square meters, with enhanced facilities. It has also incorporated a number of “green” features to demonstrate UL Demko’s commitment to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. This state-of-the-art building has been designed and built towards obtaining a USGBC LEED Gold Rating.
On October 3, 2011, UL Japan’s Tokyo and Yokohama offices were relocated to: Marunouchi Trust Tower Main Building, 6/F, 1-8-3 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-0005, Japan (tel: +81-3-5293-6000, Fax: +81-3-5293-6001). As such, the Yokohama office was closed on the same day.
The relocation puts UL Japan’s Customer Service (CS) division, Follow-Up Services (FUS) division, and UL University all under one roof.
The above relocations are part of the plans to strengthen UL capabilities in Denmark and Japan to better serve the customers.
