Wind

UL provides market access for Wind Systems - Wind-Turbine-Generator-Systems or WTGS and electrical subassemblies, applicable both to stand-alone (not grid-connected) or utility interactive applications.

The following mark is applicable to WTGS:

• UL Classified for the overall system (within the limitations).
• UL Classified mark for assemblies, control systems, inverters & converters.
• FEP - Field Evaluation Program for Wind Turbines that do not yet carry the UL Classified mark.
• FUS - Field Inspection verifies the installation of subassemblies.
