Testing Logisitics

Testing Logisitics

  1. Location
UL has fully equipped laboratories in several locations throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific where testing of these appliances can be conducted. UL also offers a program where testing can be conducted at the equipment manufacturer's facility and witnessed on site by a UL representative. UL can bring the necessary test equipment to the site, or the manufacturer's calibrated equipment may be used. Manufacturers who elect to conduct testing at their facility must comply with UL's Data Acceptance Program (DAP).
  2. One of a Kind Testing
In some cases, a one-of-a-kind product is built for a specific installation or customer. If requested, UL can conduct a Field Evaluation of these products, and apply a UL Field Evaluated Product Mark.
