About ULtra Food Safety Services

ULtra Food Safety Services (ULtra) are integrated auditing and assessment services offered by UL which provide the food industry with opportunities to ascertain compliance and display commitment to food safety. ULtra offers an alternative to traditional auditing with its value-added features, registration and access to knowledge base services.

ULtra is based upon technical and process related criteria deemed by UL to be critical to meet the food safety needs of companies operating in global markets. A food processor, ingredient supplier, retailer or any other party involved in the food "farm to table" chain may now contract with UL to assess one or more elements of their production processes, facilities, or that of their suppliers against established and/or proprietary standards.

ULtra assessment services are provided by trained and knowledgeable staff with years of actual food safety and quality system experience.

Knowledge base services are offered independent of assessment services. You can draw upon the technical and systems expertise of UL staff and the high quality and industry respected resources available to UL.
