File Maintenance

Sometimes it's hard to know who to talk to about making changes to your UL information -- the information that makes up your UL file. Below are typical questions and resources for getting these questions answered.

  • How do I order Listing cards?
  • I never received my report. To whom do I speak?
  • How do I get my company name, address, ownership information or contact person changed in my UL file?
  • How can I add or delete a manufacturing location to my existing file?
  • My file has been withdrawn and I would like to reinstate. What must I do?
  • I need to make changes to my file, or I need to open a new file. What should I do?

The best resource for getting these questions answered is to contact the project handler you worked with. Since some offices have varying procedures, your project handler is the most efficient choice. If you're unable to reach your project handler, or don't remember who it was, you may also contact a UL Customer Service Representative.
