Subject 2215, Outline Subject 2215, Outline of Investigation for Oil/Water Separators
UL has developed an Outline of Investigation for Oil / Water Separators (Subject 2215) to which it offers certification services for stationary atmospheric type above / below ground oil separation systems. In addition to electrical shock, fire and casualty hazards investigation, UL's services include performance testing and verification of claims.

To meet European standards, UL also tests for compliance with Deutsche Industrinorm (DIN) 1999 Part 4 Requirements and Part 5 Testing (Standard Specification for Coalescence Interceptors). This documentation also can be used when applying the CE Mark application.
