The role of the Follow-Up Services Council
The Follow-Up Services Council was established to assist and advise UL on matters pertaining to inspection and quality assurance of products under the Listing, Classification, or Recognition Services. The Council provides expertise and assistance to UL in the development of follow-up programs that are consistent with the state-of-the-art and are amenable with production practices. Members of the Council are selected from categories of government, education, insurance, retailers, manufacturers, testing laboratories, trade associations, and technical societies. The Council meetings are excellent opportunities to discuss topics of interest with other Council members and UL staff. Members are urged to offer suggestions for the meeting agenda and share recommendations and comments. UL's Follow-Up Services Council Representatives are:
