On March 2017, the Argentine Senate proposed Draft No. 49417 Draft Law Establishing The Duty Of The Trade And Suppliers Of Clothing, Of Counting The Existence Of All Sizes Corresponding To The Anthropometric Measures Of The Gender, Taking As A Parameter Which Is Established By The IRAM Standards, Series 75300.

The proposed draft aims to establish a requirement that sizing of clothes by manufacturers based on appropriate anthropometric data and IRAM standards Series 75300.

If enacted, the law will be effective 180 days following enactment.
