The purpose of the UL Registrar Retail Certification Program (RCP) is to assess the extent to which an organization conforms to the applicable regulations and/ or standards regarding the products being manufactured/ produced.
UL Registrar LLC’s Procedures for Certification explain the process of participating in UL's certification services, along with the requirements. The document guides a facility or client through the process from the initial application through the audit process and finally how to maintain certification once awarded. UL Registrar LLC’s ANSI and ANAB accreditations require the Procedures for Certification of each audit program offered to be publicly available.
