CPSC Recall of Thermadoor Built-In Ovens

On January 21, 2010 the CPSC announced the recall of 37,000 Built-In Ovens. The recall indicates the ovens can have gaps in the insulation causing overheating when used in the self-cleaning mode. The overheating can cause nearby cabinets to catch fire, posing a fire hazard to consumers. The recalled models with the matching serial numbers have been confirmed as UL/cUL Listed. However, the file have been withdrawn per the client request, effective January 8, 2008.
