Can power supplies (SUPPLY APPARATUS) be investigated to the requirements in UL 60065?

APPLICATION GUIDELINE:

Power supplies (SUPPLY APPARATUS) may be investigated to the requirements in UL 60065 and may be covered as Recognized Components or Listed for the purpose of use in audio/video end-products.

RATIONALE:

UL 60065 contains requirements applicable to the investigation of separate power supplies. Refer to the 3rd dashed entry in the 5th paragraph of Clause 1.1.1.
